Preschool Teacher (Poway)

We are a small Christian Preschool needing 2 teachers for the Summer and Fall of 2023. We are needing an afternoon teacher and a morning teacher. If you love working with children, can take charge of a classroom, and have your child development units along with experience working with children, we would love to hear from you. This is a part-time position 4 hours a day Monday through Friday (more hours when needed). We are also looking for an afternoon teacher to be in charge of our afternoon program (12:00 to 5:00)

Must have 12 college units in Early Childhood Education (will consider 6 units and enrolled in the rest).

Additional Requirements/Skills:

Fingerprint clearance through DOJ/FBI (may be obtained after hiring)

CPR/First Aid certification (may be obtained after hiring)

Health screening and negative TB test results from a licensed physician

Proof of required immunizations: Pertussis, Measles & Influenza

Ability to bend at the waist, sit/kneel on the floor, stand for periods of time, and maneuver easily throughout the classroom when working with children

Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with parents, children, and other staff members. Must be a Team Player and have an excellent work Ethic

Excellent communication and organizational skills
