Preschool Teachers and Aides (Cardiff-By-The-Sea)

The Learning Tree Preschools, Inc. in Cardiff by the Sea is looking for enthusiastic, fun, loving & creative preschool teachers to join our family. Our school is a very fun and happy place to work. We are a Play-Based school that allows teachers the freedom to teach in many different styles and techniques to explore, learn and grow with our students. We serve wonderful families in our community and can feel the family orientated community everyday here which makes us feel like home away from home for all our staff and students.

Must be able to start once fingerprinting clearance is complete. Must have the following experience and qualifications:-Min. of 12 units in the specific core classes or currently enrolled in ECE units-Experience working with children 2-5years old-Must be a team player and have good communication skills-Ability to multi task while paying attention to detail-Must be dependable, flexible and committed to the job.

Upon consideration for Employment - Qualifying Teacher must pass a criminal background check, physical evaluation, required immunizations, tuberculosis test, preferably CPR/First Aid certified & must obtain within 30 days of hire a certificate of completion of Mandatory Child Abuse Training AB 1207 and Sexual Harassment Training. Currently hiring for a Teacher position and a Floater Aid / Sub. Teacher position must be fully qualified or at least 6 ECE units completed and currently enrolled in the other 6. For the Floater position, no ECE units are required however to be fully utilized having units is a huge help. You can be enrolled and working towards your ECE units while working in the classroom setting.

You can gain teaching experience while you continue to take classes.

Will also accept volunteer hours if you are looking for a school to complete your practicum hours.
