  • Flexible Delivery for Working Professionals
    Courses are offered [through live, interactive distance education and on site at our Carlsbad campus]. ECE/CDA courses run 90 days, and General Education and EEAS courses run five weeks, with completion dates set from each student's start date.

    Students build ECE units on a schedule that works around employment and family commitments. Time to completion depends on course load, start date, and individual progress.

    Faculty meet the qualification standards published in the 2026 Academic Catalog, Version 2.9, and bring professional experience in early childhood education..

    Curriculum is reviewed [on a scheduled cycle] through the academic review process at Theoria Technical College, with input from early childhood education professionals.

 

  • Grounded in California Licensing Regulations
    Coursework introduces students to the California Community Care Licensing regulations under Title 22 that govern licensed child care programs.

Class Lecture Schedule

ECE lectures almost every weekend from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

 

Students can attend Theoria Technical College lectures in two ways:

 

1. On-site at our Carlsbad Campus: Classes are held in group classrooms. *Must be scheduled before arriving.

 

2. Online (Distance Education): Join our live-interactive virtual learning room environment.

Only enrolled students can attend classes, whether on campus during weekends or online. To attend a weekend class, you must first enroll by completing an Enrollment Packet and submitting it to Theoria. For more information, please contact us.
